Song: B.A. Class 36 Weaving Love, Uniting Hearts in Samae San
[Intro]
The waves of Samae San whisper through the air,
Old friends come together, with memories to share.
Though the years have taken us so far apart,
The bonds we made forever live within our hearts.
[Verse 1 — The Days We Shared]
We walked the road together, we dreamed beneath the sky,
We laughed through all the seasons as the years went passing by.
Those precious days of friendship, those moments we hold dear,
Have brought us back together, to celebrate being here.
Some have traveled far away, some have stayed close by,
But the thread of our friendship never said goodbye.
Though life may lead us down a thousand different ways,
We find our way together on these special days.
[Chorus — Weaving Love, Uniting Hearts]
Weaving love, uniting hearts, in Samae San today,
Our memories will guide us, though time may pass away.
Let us join our hands again, as we did before,
Our friendship shines forever, now and evermore.
Weaving love, uniting hearts, through kindness and through prayer,
We dedicate our merit to the friends no longer here.
Though we cannot see them, their love will never die,
Their memories live within us, beneath the same blue sky.
[Verse 2 — Faith and the Ocean Blue]
The monks chant sacred blessings, our hearts are calm and still,
We share our faith and kindness, with love and gentle will.
We dedicate our goodness to the friends we've lost along the way,
And keep their names within our hearts, today and every day.
Then out across the ocean, beneath the skies of blue,
We watch the coral gardens and the fish that wander through.
With laughter on the boat ride and friends standing side by side,
We make another memory upon the ocean tide.
[Chorus]
Weaving love, uniting hearts, in Samae San today,
Our memories will guide us, though time may pass away.
Let us join our hands again, as we did before,
Our friendship shines forever, now and evermore.
Weaving love, uniting hearts, through kindness and through prayer,
We dedicate our merit to the friends no longer here.
Though we cannot see them, their love will never die,
Their memories live within us, beneath the same blue sky.
[Bridge — Friends Beyond Time]
If tomorrow takes us far, to places yet unknown,
May we never lose the friendship that has always been our own.
Every smile, each tear we shed, each story we recall,
Will be the light that guides us, a precious gift to all.
[Final Chorus — Until We Meet Again]
Weaving love, uniting hearts, our friendship will remain,
Through sunshine and through storms, through joy and even pain.
To our beloved friends in heaven, your memories shine so bright,
You will always walk beside us, like stars throughout the night.
[Outro]
November sixth through eighth, twenty twenty-six,
Samae San brings us together, with memories and friendship.
Until we meet again in twenty twenty-seven,
Class Thirty-Six, our bond will last forever.
Weaving love, uniting hearts, together we will stand,
Forever friends, forever one, across this cherished land.
