King Prajadhipok’s Institute and Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University have joined forces to establish an academic network aimed at developing a new generation of leaders under the concept of ethical democracy. This collaboration systematically integrates peace studies into the discipline of public policy administration.
A key highlight of this partnership is the introduction of Buddhist Artificial Intelligence (Buddhist AI) and mindfulness innovation as foundational frameworks for strategic decision-making. These approaches are designed to reduce bias, enhance good governance, and promote ethical clarity in public affairs.
The initiative also advances academic development through a “Study One, Earn Two” model, linking certificate programs with graduate-level education to cultivate comprehensive expertise and interdisciplinary competence.
The project places strong emphasis on conflict resolution through peaceful means and restorative justice, aligning with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ultimately, it seeks to lay the groundwork for modern public administration that upholds ethical integrity and core Buddhist principles, ensuring stable and sustainable national development.
