คืออุปสรรคใหญ่ของชาติไทย
เมื่อวันที่ 9 กรกฎาคม 2568 นายทักษิณ ชินวัตร อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี แสดงวิสัยทัศน์ครั้งสำคัญในงาน SPLASH – Soft Power Forum 2025 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Crafting the Future: From OTOP to ThaiWORKS and Beyond” พร้อมเปิดตัวโครงการ “ThaiWORKS” ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายต่อยอดโครงการ OTOP โดยเน้นการยกระดับสินค้าท้องถิ่นด้วยการออกแบบสมัยใหม่และการสร้างแบรนด์สู่ตลาดโลก
โดยนายทักษิณกล่าวปิดท้ายว่า ปัญหาสำคัญของประเทศไทยคือ “ความไม่สามัคคีและความอิจฉาริษยา” หากประชาชนร่วมมือกัน ส่งเสริมกันโดยไม่มีการแบ่งพรรคแบ่งพวก Soft Power ไทยจะสามารถเติบโตในหลายมิติ ทั้งด้านวัฒนธรรม สินค้าหัตถกรรม ภาพยนตร์ ดนตรี และอื่น ๆ ซึ่งถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการสร้างรายได้จากความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในยุคเศรษฐกิจใหม่
